lack of willpower

Post by stockcar »

in a moment of weakness i have bought a new project for the winter (seeing as i don't have enough already :-D )

had quite a lot of resto work already completed, as well as some subtle shape changing and a very 80's paintjob
(which is growing on me!! must be the acid!!)

1979 Lambretta GP150 cut-down street racer style...........

just needs a few jobs like rearsets sorting, rear brake would help, MOT and registering (imported 2yrs ago in a delapidated state)
then we might start a engine project and definately a front brake conversion...........

it was another "too good" an opportunity to miss...............tax exempt (fairly) solid shell that will probs end up as either a track or rally car, will get there eventually

as for the Lambretta, always fancied one but never had the cash "back in the day" so had a few vespa's instead (but never with the whole xmas light thing) - much preferred the "scooter skin" type look of modded scoots.........
nice set of drop bars wouldn't go amiss either me thinks

Very good mate.

A friend of mine had a Vespa as his first bike, it seemed quite cool.

That paintjob is weird !!!

Haha I love it. I'm currently looking for a honda c90. I had one as a kid and it really was indistructable so it'll be cool to have one again.
