the engine is the 130bhp D16 non vtec
it is great fun on track but it does lack a bit of straight line speed but around the corners its awesome.
im thinking about replacing the engine for the 160bhp B16 vtec model so that should give it a bit more of a kick.
the weight of it is just under 1k kg's but id like to make it lighter over the winter and also fit a roll cage.

Stuart the arch replacements are from a 88-91 model civic and they were from Movac in Ipswich, Honda wanted big bucks for crx arches but the civic ones were fairly cheap.

Nice job, Lovely car the CRX and this looks like a good one.

... and yes stu is right. I really should get mine baack out again. What do you think of the dampers Lee? I never did like the ones on my car but hadnt driven others to find out if there were better options out there.

It is easier to buy a vtec car, than swap the engines over if you are tempted that way.

Go for a b18c from a JDM DC2 if your budget can stretch to it. 200bhp straight out of the tin. That would be uber fun in a feather weight crx!

Couldnt help noticing in the photos, it goes from having new arches welded in - to being painted...

If only it was that simple.... ...and you didnt mention the roof...

well i didnt want to bring up the whole weld a plate in the sunroof thing as it was such a nightmare job lol
