People on here are experienced track day participants, i do not dispute that fact and yes i do have a interest in the date on the 6th i do not dispute that either. it is just my opinion and that is all it is that a "arrive and drive day " may be slightly more how can i put it "open to all " . People will be going on track who may never have been on a day before and mixing it with seasoned drivers.
With only say 20 minutes available to then i would imagine most people will not be bothering to pay for the tuition available but just gaining the free tuition from the pit's.
As far as i see it you will still have to do the warm up laps so hopefully people will take note of this if it is there first time on the track.

Arrive and drive days are open to all. That's their purpose and why not? We've all spun, headed for armco or tyre walls, some of us have heard the sickening crunch and felt the jolt of the abrupt halt and also felt the adrenelin rush of a lucky escape. We also know that any driver out there with us is a potential incident, whether a private or group accident, waiting to happen.mgv8dave wrote:People on here are experienced track day participants, i do not dispute that fact and yes i do have a interest in the date on the 6th i do not dispute that either. it is just my opinion and that is all it is that a "arrive and drive day " may be slightly more how can i put it "open to all " . Will you be vetting everyone who participates in your day to ensure they are all seasoned drivers? I've only done one track day this year so can hardly call myself seasoned. Blacky did his first and only track day in September which makes him a real novice.
Sorry but I read your post as an unnecessary condemnation of a professionally organised event that came across as nothing short of patronising in a bid to promote your own interests.
