Do you think she will notice?

Post by duncan »

Having spent the weekend removing all sound proofing and deadening tar after removed the cage and seats, i have now put the inside back to OE for the winter so that we can use it as a family car for the trip to Germany and so that Rachel can drive it again.

Do you think she will notice that things have changed with the car since the last time she drove it in February  ?

I do think that you are very brave Duncan letting Rachel drive it after such a big gain,
but if like me you dont notice when the wife gets her hair done so the rolls might be turned on purpose.
I think that you ought to fit a switch to the ECU for Duncan driver and Rachel driver settings,

I did put the avcr on the low boost setting.

Back in one piece - She did moan about having to change gear so quickly and running out of clear road...

Thought you would have changed something

I know mine accelerates so much quicker now I am always moaning about people getting in my way, so I hate to think what yours is like now :o

Karen used to regularly borrow the GTR to go down the shops and such - just used to leave it how I last had it, low boost, high boost, got a call one day from a Nemesis mechanic to say that I had just overtaken him at some stupid speed when I was at work in London at the time !!!

That can't be bad.....race car in the summer and nice family saloon in the winter  kit back in it in the autumn and strip it out again in the spring ready for racing that sounds much more fun than a gardening routine
