Yeah i think Deano got the boot too, they kept only two techs the old guy and mr sickie every n5 minutes... go figure.

Glad to hear that your job is ok for the moment Danny,
you are right I heard that inschape laid off 3 techs from hunters, 2/3 from volvo and shed loads of admin and from the supermarketr aswell, Holdens laid off a load, duff morgan, dingles I think and also on the cards at thurlow nunn saab,

Its not good just thankful that I left Holdens as the chap that took my job got laid off last friday,

Glad you kept your job mate, you're not alone at the moment a couple of weeks ago we were told 1 in 3 at my place would be going, now it's looking like half will be going before christmas :(

I had this last year, 7 months after i started for a company the whole company shut down, although they were really good about it as we got 2 months pay for free. :)
