These events are a great introduction and Bedford is a great venue as there is literally nothing to hit if you should come 'unstuck'
The guys at MSV are very experienced with this style of event, and Bedford more so than most due to the number of corporate guests they get.
If the itch needs to be scratched sooner rather than later (ie approx 4-6 months when we have our virgins events) then this would be my ideal as a newcomer to circuit stuff.
In terms of value for money, as long as you remember that the emphasis of the day will be to have fun in a safe environment, then it will be the best

Hi Jon, welcome to BP.
Bedford's a good track for the novice and more experienced. Nowhere is 100% safe but Bedford has fewer opportunities for abrupt halts than most.
That MSV day sounds good value and ideal for your situation. Go and enjoy it.
