Winter is Coming.....

Post by blacky »

Whats everyones plans???

Winter track action, Hibernation.....muchos garage tinkering??

Mine is kick back, relax, get some new suspension on the Evo. Get the Impreza back together and ready to sell in Spring, save cash for my Wedding and get my ARDS done so if I get the cahnce to do some racing I'm primed and ready to go!

Its been a busy year.....lots of Sprints, lots of bits to keep the Evo going (thanks to APT for fitting me in for work when it needed emergency stuff :thumb: ).......but all in all, lots of fun tho!

Plans for winter doing a track day at brands in november also ards on the same day. Plans for impreza need to dial some over steer in with some ajustable rear links . Won,t to get the roll cage welded to a+b pillars to stop body twist . All depending on funds might freshen up the engine. Then kick back and relax two days before season starts again.

ARDs in November and decide which series I'll be doing next year. Will have to make my mind up on that by January latest. Just in time for a few weeks in the States :D

Got to grow up this winter, not long now until our little one should make an appearance..... Going to be a busy winter.

Going to spend a few hours in the garage with dad finishing of the kit car ready for SVA early 2009 saves changing nappies.

Even brought a new family wagon, V8 powered  :o

Whats the plans then stu, whats going to be your chosen chariot?

You're sticking with the Evo then, Logan?
Any thoughts on what the 2 would be like back-to-back on a track?

Yup, gonna stick with the Evo.

Back to back, probably very similar in lap time I would of though, Evo has slighty more power now but then its 200kg's heavier.

Evo is better in the wet tho in my opinion, less edgy than the Impreza.

Cheers Logan, ARDS is this more of a paper work exercise or really about driving ability/safety???
