Martyn should be back for a full season next year Mike. He had an off at Brands Sept'07 & had done more damage than first though

then once it was in bit's it was all got a bit of a tidy up & any extra weight that could be found taken out. The Lotus is now very nearly ready & Martyn has an entry for Lydden this weekend as a shakedown prior to next year.
I don't know if Stuart will be out in D8? He had a few entries in his BMW at the tail end of this year, including a win at Cadwell , I was marshalling by the gooseneck & it looked like he was pedaling well

So D8 should hopefully be a bit better subscribed in 2009.

I may come over to D8 next year :? i'll need to see what's going to happen with my insurance if I put a cage in, but i'm shortly gonna get some stock 16's to put some 888's on for trackdays anyway......got a power run booked in at Surrey Rolling Road...as i'm planning to develope some more grunt over the winter, but won't know what i've achieved unless i have a starting point.

I guess the small classes & subsequent low scoring oppertunity was the reasoning behind you not being about as much this year?

Also, I think you'll find B3 depleted somewhat next year....as Kim said he isn't bothering chasing championships.....dependant on how I go next weekend I may be concentrating on the MLR series, but otherwise I may just do a few I fancy and maybe go further afield and try some different events and some hillclimbs, and also do a couple of Ring trips...

With these rule changes it really has de-motivated me.....

i know what you mean,
i would be up for doing one or two different events like a hill climb or something, i'd also like to do something on a loose surface aswell (i'm not to bothered about the paint on my car)

Hill climb sounds good but not too many venues in East Anglia.

Can only agree with all that has been said.

Wingestone and others have wrecked it for me and my car is for sale. I'll put it up next year ccrunch permitting although any offers considered now.

I just can't understand why as soon as one class gets popular they split it. There's half a dozen runners at Lydden this Saturday in B3. Split 2wd/4wd and there would be three or so in each class. Madness...

Logan has it right - do something else where tuggers can't get the rules changed so they can win.

As logan said 2wd escort cossie dont go for a tvr cerbera brilliant car had one for a month and still alive there nicked named the widow maker for a reason. was thinking same way as logan looking at going back to the nurburg ring early june. would like to do to do harewood hill and prescot,could save money not doing other events and make some weekends of these events.
