Brake bleeding

Post by IWANT1 »

BMW M3 Evo brake fluid bleeding

Is there any special sequence to it, i recently found out i had been doing it incorrectly on the mitsi as i have always started with the break unit furthest from the master cylinder but it appears this is incorrect on an ABS equipped car.

On an ABS equipped car.

1. n/s/r outer nipple
2. n/s/r inside nipple
3. o/s/f outer nipple
4. o/s/f inside nipple
5. o/s/r outer nipple
6. o/s/r inner nipple
7. n/s/f outer nipple
8. n/s/f inner nipple

- The order to bleed the calipers for cars without ABS is as follows:

1. n/s/r outer nipple
2. n/s/r inside nipple
3. o/s/r outer nipple
4. o/s/r inside nipple
5. n/s/f outer nipple
6. n/s/f inner nipple
7. o/s/f outer nipple
8. o/s/f inner nipple
