couple of small updates
car went well 1st time out at snetterton.
I was hoping to do 1min 27sec ish and actually managed to get down to a best of 1min 25sec with skinny passenger! and several 1min 26sec laps which I was pretty chuffed with for low boost pressures.

Had a few intercooler pipe issues -so have now sorted this.
Car felt unstable on braking and a bit understeery on the track but pretty good overall.
Next mod which hopefully I'll sort before the end of the month will be to replace all the old bushes as most havent been replaced since at least 1996 lol!
Going to poly bush every thing so hopefully will improve handling/braking stability.
hopefully theres a few secs to be gained next time
Rover tomcat-updated
1'25" is no mean feat mate, and particularly with a car that still needs fettling in terms of bushes and the like. Plenty more to come that's for sure

Truth be told that's probably the same for most of us. The last thing we spend money on and yet it's always the best value for money.

following the track day i thought I'd get my settings checked
not quite as I expected..
It appears my old camber gauge wasn't very acurate!
A have now bought a much more accurate gauge to set it up properly.
Camber was fairly close side to side but much lower than expected!
Car was toeing in at front also..
although I was amazed how accurate I'd got the rear though to parrallel !
Caster was also out -don't think I can alter that though -tester reconed all rovers are out lol
I won't to sort this though as i think its why the car pulls slightly to the left.
I think hopefully I should see a small improvement on the track with camber/toe sorted etc

Whats thrust angle?
:?

Whether the car is roughly going forwards or ploughing up the road like a crab
