Firstly, commiserations to whose guys who had failures or issues today.

I know there was a couple. If anyone needs a hand feel free to ask, Id be happy to help

secondly, congrats to everyone who competed, it was a bloody good day.

MASSIVE Thanks to Stuart, the staff at Snet and anyone else who helped orgainise today.

Me, my dad and Lee all had an excellent day and the staff were superb, all the food was brill, the drinks etc were all excellent

Really cant say thank you enough.

A superb day out.

Great company, atmosphere, food etc.

I was torn between having this day out or being there tied to a trade stand.
I think i made the right decision. I needed a day out.

I have to agree with the comments above it was an absolutely fantastic day !!!!

A quick version of my day. After being incredibly excited I had trouble sleeping and woke up at 5:30, rather than waste the opportunity I got up and went to pick dad up. We got there at 7:40am and were pleased to see Stuart watching over the cars entering the circuit in almost a bouncer like fashion !! After a brief chat we parked up near the VIP bit and when someone drove out of a space I jumped on the opportunity and parked up.

A quick gander round the pits and seeing the amazing cars there already including Papa Smurfs Scoob and Garys Evo we wandered over to the club sections where this caught my eye:


Was very impressed with it and it was as good as I remember when we saw it going round the Ring in Germany.

Wandering past the ahem 'special' cars and having my insides churned up by the constant bass from a load of cars that were all designed from the pages of Max Power. Horrific paint schemes check, insane bodykits check, pointless amount of tvs check, large number of exhaust pipes check (there was a black Polo with 12 pipes !!!!!) etc. There were some nice American muscle cars this Dodge SRT and the Chrysler on 24inch rims !!!!

My eagle eyes spotted this in the ringfenced carpark which is totally understandable from the large number of 'corr how many speakers has it got mister' bunch !!! Simply divine !!!!



We then wandered down the front of the Pits and drooled over all the cars.

I was most interested in Craigs V8 RX7 (something of a marmite car on the Mazda forums) and Darrens green RX7 which has an engine bay I would love to aspire to.



Garys Evo looked in its usual great form (sorry to hear about your issues with it during the day though mate):

I had heard from Ben about the VIP room but I was blown away by what Snetterton had done for us and felt it a real priviledge for them to provide the setup. Lunch was absolutely fantastic, there was loads and loads of food and the puddings were ace. Watching Chris (H Tech) getting stuck into a wedge of cake the size of a doorstop was a particular highlight.

The drift section we have used for club evenings was alive with the sound and smells of engines banging off limiters and burnt rubber. Watching on occasions 4 cars going round and round at the same time was mesmerising and a real credit to those involved.

For me it was a fantastic day and full credit to Stuart. I felt quite humble just putting a couple of banners up in comparison to the work you put in organising today !!!!

Awesome day even got the EVO out on track which is a first for it :lol:

A great finish to the season. Hopefully i will be involved a bit more next year, as a spanner monkey.....
