Impreza tyre choice advice............

Post by Rob S »

Chaps,
I've recently joined the Impreza ranks, and have a standard Impreza MY99 Turbo, currently with 205/50/16 tyres.
Can any owners advise me as to what would be a recommended set of tyres to get on the old girl?
I've had TOYO's on other cars and like them, but I understand these cars can be sensitive to tyre choice.
Thanks in advance.
Rob

Toyo T1R's for your size of wheel/tyre combo. Scooby's love them and they last well enough. Awesome in the wet, and seeing as we get lots of wet weather in the UK bloody good job too :D :thumb:

Make sure the Toyos are T1-R not the older T1-S.

Rs have stiffer side-walls and beter suited to Scobies.

You'll be even more impressed when it's chucking it down and they are driven by Subaru Symmetrical 4WD.

Have fun ;)
