Great stuff - the atmosphere at 24hr events is electric. Love the 997RSR too, one of them won the Nurburgring 24h this year too 8)

Nice one guys,

Must be dead chuffed with helping get the team the win !!

As a side note I believe a certain Mr A Barnes also managed a result in the Evo X he was driving with a couple of other peeps who can peddle a bit - James Kaye, Mark Lemmers, Jay Wheals !!

Nice one.

Fantastic Job you guys! car certainly looked like it had been driven hard all race.

I was also racing in the race, I was in the Daniels Motorsport Civic Type-R. I saw your car loads of time during my various stints as it just managed to squeeze past me :)

We finished 22nd, which wasn't bad considering, we lost an hour through 3 garage stops, having to remove the fuel pump, clean out filter and replace due to getting debris in the fuel we got from the Britcar pumps, did you get/hear of that problem? At least 2 other teams reported mucky fuel, it effected us more as we run full production spec so filter is standard. We also lost 4th gear at 4am and did the last 12.5hrs with just 3rd and 5th. We'd won it for the last 2 years but they bumped us up a class against cars like the TJH Civic which was very highly modified, 25% lighter with 40% more power!

Here are a few pics.

Also, I was trialing a new solid-state video system, here is a link to a youtube video of the first 10 mins after we got the green flag, you will see your car coming by ... possibly twice :( :)

It is such a good vibe at Britcar, I was there all weekend supporting TGM!

They came 11th overall and 2nd in their class, not bad for a stock block! We was sponsoring they used our clutch and LSD :)

But well done Paragon!!! well deserved win!

Cheers
