I have owned the car for nearly 2 years now and in that time all i have done is get it re-mapped by Thorney Motorsport.
As some of you know i have just returned from working over 4 months abroad and whilst away i decided to start having fun with the car on track. To do this i had to get the crap brakes sorted out. The fronts and the rear disc's were past there best as the below picture of the rears shows.

I decided on using the tried and tested option of AP racing calipers and disc's front and rear with Pagid 29 pads all round. For this and certain other mods i decided on using Thorney again as the service was good the first time around.
Along with the brakes i decided on KW V3 suspension along with the clubsport upgrade along with the adjustable top mounts, uprated rear trailing arm bushes. Front and rear Eibach 10mm spacers on the wheels and extended wheel bolts.
On the power side of things i went for a full Milltek exhaust cw race cats and a performance panel filter by ITG.

I arrived at Thorney workshop at 8:30am and left at 5:50pm it took 3 techs working on my car to get it finished in time and even then we didn't have time to power run the car!!!
Whilst the guys were working on the car they noticed that my induction flap wasn't fully opening!!!!! so the ordered another sensor in which cured the problem.
I'm not sure how much more power i now have but i'm very pleased with the increase whatever it is. On the trackday at Snet yesterday i had a great dice on track with a red M3 who's owner told me he has the stage 3 power mod that Thorney does with the Schrick cams in making 375bhp and i was staying with him if not gaining on him on the straights.
The best of the mods by far has to be the brakes. I'm so glad i got the rears aswell as the fronts as the car is so balanced under braking, it really took a while for me to adjust to how much braking power i now have.
The suspension is going to be an ongoing thing regarding finding the best set up and to be honest messing around with things isn't really me but i have to admit i started getting into it yesterday apart from me forgetting my allen keys! (thanks Stu) and making notes regarding what changes i made.
I now what to get hold of a second set of wheels and finally try a set of the well hyped Cups. Apart from that i think i have done as much as i will for a while atleast. But i do like the thought of the new manifolds and cams that Thorney is now selling. Oh and a carbon bonnet is also on the wish list.
