Less we forget - Lifes too short

Post by pablo »

I class myself as one of the lucky ones for inspite of my numereous brushes with death I am still here and as such i make sure that I enjoy life and am able to keep things in perspective.

Had a phone call from Alan this morning to tell me that he couldn't work on the car today. He was at work on his day off as a colleague and good friend of his, who was in his early 20's and a keen rugby player collapsed and died from a heart attack last night whilst out drinking with his mates.

thats sad news and at such a young age
i'v also been thinking lifes to short this week as we have had a bad week
my wifes mother died on wednesday (she was 60) after an op for a brain tumor that suddenly came to light, so the new sprint car has taken a step backwards,
life really is crappy sometimes but i guess you have to think about the good times

Sobering thoughts.

I think you've hit the nail on the head though Trev. Life is going to deal you enough knock out punches anyway, so best not to stand around waiting for the next one.

If there's anything that you need Trev..........
