Ben i would have to agree with you on the fact that the country is being ruined by pc bollocks.

I spent many years working in youth work always in problem areas. In the end I was forced to give it up because of pc bullshit. I would regulary fight with the kids all in fun and was always being told by the bosses that I should not be encouraging them to fight but should be teaching them to hug  What a load of bollocks they couldn't understand that i was interacting with them at their level and as such gained their respect and trust.

The final straw came when i was told that i was not allowed to give any of the kids a lift home. The situation came about because a 13 yr old lad who wanted to attend the youth club had to walk home 2 miles through a very rough area. It was not out of my way his mother who didn't drive was happy for me to do this and appreciative as it helped her and her son and it meant he got home safely.
My view was the safety of the child was paramount, their view was what if the child made a complaint. So basically they were more concerned about them selves than the childs safety.

More pc bollocks that pisses me off :x

A blackbag is a blackbag
The milkybar kid is white with blonde hair

These people need to get a fecking life :x

I use to work for a council that was pc mad  they claimed not to discriminate for everything...size of your big toe colour of your terd
so when I was appling for a promotion on the appliation form i put my name address and qualifications then spent 6 months arguing with them that under their pc policy all other information was irrelavant and if they needed it for monitoring reasons then it should be on a separete form.....I got the job in the end

I lost what little faith I had in the powers that be when I read that shoplifters are let off with a caution, police are not interested in credit card fraud (I have had first hand experience with this at work), yet an 82year old pensioner is sentenced to 28 days jail for non payment of council tax.

I heard a very interesting statement tonight - "benefits have become a lifestyle choice - where before they were a safety net"

The interesting thing is, we all agree on these things - but don't as far as I see have the power to do anything about it :(

The best example I can think of with regards the injustice of the system is that because we pay car tax, insure our vehicles, inform the DVLA that we own them - if we do something wrong - we will be caught, but for those that don't insure, tax, more importantly register them - they don't exist unless actually caught directly by the police - the speed camera only works if you are legit.

As to you comments Paul - it's ridiculous, they would rather deal with him being beaten up in the street than trust you to make sure he is safe !!!! ...

also, I have and always will go to someones aid - but nowdays how often is that the person trying to help becomes the victim - my ex would always try to stop me breaking up a fight, situation - but it's not in my nature to leave it.

As to credit card fraud - don't start me - a girl at work had her card cloned - the crooks bought a 7500 pound kitchen - so obviously there is a delivery address - when the credit card company were told - there response was - not our problem - call the police, the police said it's the credit card companies problem ..... then the credit card company took the full amount directly from her account !!!! ...

surely, they provide a service, they provide the 'protection' .. oh no, it's yours and my responsibility to stop this happening ...

but yeh, go and jail an 80 year old .. that makes all the sense ....

Just a thought.

After I win the lottery this Saturday, where should I keep the proceeds?

Bearing in mind the banks aren't as secure as they've led us to believe and only
