No finals, no cancellation, no word from HCC

Anybody else, Gerry excepted, heard anything from the club?

It is cancelled and having talked to Spence it was a case of waiting until the closing date to see if enough entries had come in to make it happen. HCC were about 15 short of break even. I have been told that cancellation letters have been sent out in place of finals.

I'm surprised you still haven't heard anything. I had a call from Spence last night apologising that because of very low numbers the event was cancelled.

I expected that all entrants had been called.

I suspect Kim, that you suspect I am doing this as a way of getting FTD on Sunday as I'll be the only one to show,  :D

I got my notice of cancellation and my cheque on Friday plus a call from Spencer to make sure I wasn't going to NW on Sun.

All credit HCC for ringing round and to the effectiveness of this forum. Long may it remain informative and not infuriating like so many...

Top job, Stuart
