Not sure yet Ben , because I am considering whether to take out the HICAS

I am getting a 'kick' occasionally when driving , also was going to send them to Tein for a refurb before I fit them .

So looks like they will be done on 'phase 3' when I touch up the body work and fit the wings and stuff.

Phase 2 will be mapping and beefing up the Fuel delivery and AFM's

I have a rolling road day at Castle Coombe on the 18th Oct so it will most probably be things to do over the winter .

According to Tein the set I have are adjustable to '16 postions' they may be different to yours

cant wait to get it back - its been up in the midlands for a month
bit of a unwanted surpise needing the exhaust Cam though :(

Have you removed the HICAS / or fitted a Lock out Bar?

Some Good News amongst all the Bad

Post by Simmie »

Just had MIJ on the phone and they have informed me that car has forged pistons :) which may be a bad thing because I am tempted to go for bigger Tubbies

The bad news is the Exhaust Cam is shot :( hence the delay

Not yet - will at some point - but it handles fantastically already - the main thing is to run the car in KM's as ecu etc thinks in KM and not MPH

Got my car back today :) at last

Bloody post office is closed till monday so I cant drive it until itd taxed... will give it a good clean tomorrow , got to do about 500 miles just to make sure the head is OK then remap ....

Driving on the stock ECU is crap - feels so slow oh well just a few days to go .
