A grand day out
Sorry to disappoint chaps but I won't rise to silly baiting. You well know, being serious competitors yourselves, just how these one win wonders are good talkers
The fact that the 400bbhp Audi driver and I let the new boy have his moment of perceived glory will, all too soon, be met by the stark realisation that he's an 'also ran'.
Come the 28th he'll be slinking off early, tail between his legs, with the rest of the losers whilst us winners will be waiting for the awards presentation.
Anyway, how can he expect to be any good with crap geometry and a gearbox that, after 30secs., only has one gear?

Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or hump it, piss on it and walk away!

lol
I have issues !!!
....I used to be average, now I reminisce !!!

Bloody hell
There I am, at work, whilst you buggers collectively hide behind your keyboards. Tsk, tsk.
Gerry
the 28th will be interesting for sure. Maybe I was just lucky at Cadwell. Maybe......................
You are right. I have a persistent problem with the ability to select the desired gear and it's an intermittent issue, so difficult to solve. Hopefully it'll be all sorted for North Weald but if not, I'll run anyway and do my best.
I suppose I have to accept that I will never be that good with crap geometry and one gear, but I'll also have to accept that I was good enough to win on Saturday. Good enough to win by over a second and good enough to do that quite easily.
I do hope that I have my issues sorted for North Weald. I need to start closing the gap with Logan and Kim as they seem to be the only people in the series to put in consistent, damned fast times whilst those with little or no competition turn up and get the prizes regardless

Popcorn and piss takes aside, I hope I get it sorted because I think I'm going to need all the help I can get.
Best of luck to all who compete because ultimately, we're all out there doing it whilst there are plenty that don't.
I have enforced some great friendships sprinting and I hope the banter is taken as just that.
