P1ssed the feck off

Post by pablo »

As some of you will know we are supposed to be having an engine built by our so called sponsor. Well for the second time we have been let down and the engine is not being fitted this weekend, only found out on wednesday morning then had to phone Al to let him know....So where does this leave us... as of wednesday up shit creak without a paddle and we really thought that was it all over done and dusted find a new hobby.
Alan's suggestion was feck it i'll build a new one, when i asked him if he could do it before snetterton he said No but I will - no choice.

Once bitten twice shy - because this happened last year I was not prepared to layout any money on the new build until the engine was in the car, for this exact reason. So luckily the only money spent on it was

If it was a deal that we had put forward and he was now backing out of, that would be more paletable as it was it was he who put the deal on the table as he wanted he name on the car big. We are fairly well known in the XR community and everyone knows that we were sponsored by him. When we roll the car out next year without his name anywhere on the car questions will be asked. His loss.

Thanks for the kind words guys just needed to get it off my chest.
