I think you can be proud Frayz. The car is a fantastic example of what can be achieved when you have the skill, dedication and foresight to plan and execute such a fine project

After much debate, i finally decided where i was now going to mount the fuel pressure regulator. Previously this had been mounted on my offside inner wing. However with the all new fuel system i decided i wanted a more central position so as to make the fuel lines as neat and as equal length as possible.

I can probably say im the world wide winner for the most over engineered FPR bracket in history. Not content with the first one i made, (Felt a bit flimsy) i made a 2nd one. This time out of 6mm ally billet. Its now very very solid and feels nice and strong when bolted up. I managed to get the outlets positioned nice for the returns entering the sides on the exits of the rails.

The rails i will also be making myself.

Will it suffer from heat soak there frayz being attached to the inlet manifold compared to a body mounting?

Are you having a pressure guage permenently setup on that or just for initial setup. I have one permanently on mine and i find it handy for making sure the pressure hasn't changed/altered with engine vibration over time.

Mind you it's a fuellab so bound to be pretty accurate and stay put way after initial setup. Nice one!! :thumb:

Just to add after Duncan's post. I have mine set up just behind the front offside headlight on the ABS distribution block away from the engine. I wondered about heat soak too so i stuck it there and i can see the guage as well easy enough.
Buggers cancelled my op just a couple of days before it was due. Inconsiderate barstewards!!

Waiting now for another execution date!!:headhack:

There's a pressure sensor in place of a guage.

Surely heat soak will be minimal unless the charge temps go way up. The inlet manifold shouldn't get that hot plus it'll be under the scoop, if that's staying.
