i was just wondering i dont have another set of wheels and i am planning on usin my road tyres for this track day how much wear realistically do you think could be made in a day .

IE will they be scrap afterwards ??

they all have around 3- 4mm oof tread on them atm

This is only temporary as i am buying some team dynamics pro race 1.2 and r888 soon but not before the track day !!!

Its an RAF base so cant see any issues with just leaving it in your slot in the pits or just make frends with someone on site and leave it in there tow vehicle.

if you corner hard it will still hammer the tyres, as its the high grip tarmac.

It will hammer your tyres - that's for sure ... I don't think you'll be driving home on much tread!! .. saying that you probably need a spare set of pads for the drive home too .... (Eh stu .. :P)

thanks guys i have decided to take the car off the road now for a few months while the new engine goes in , in october (end of .) maybe earlie november .

so will be trailering it there for ease this mean i have all the car to leave fuel in tools etc

i have emailed ben with the details of the tow car i just hope it is not to late !!!
