.........and another one for SLOW EDWARD!!

Post by ScoobieWRX »

Eddy is a top man. Did some spot on welding and modifications on my exhaust to cure some missalignment problems with my old SS backbox. Sterling work Edward!! :D

I can recommend Eddy for his very reasonable rates, down to earth attitude and home from home workshop facilities :thumb: The journey was caca though. 3.5hrs door to door from Northampton to Norwich. Traffic was bloody terrible!! Won't put me off seeing Eddy again for some further underneath modifications.

Top man!! :notworthy:

What i want to know is how does he get such a lovely looking girl and produce such a stormer of a looking bonny baby. How come all the ugly blokes get the gooduns!! Must be the size of his ball pein hammer!!
Buggers cancelled my op just a couple of days before it was due. Inconsiderate barstewards!!

Thanks Francis,
It was a pleasure to meet you face to face at last.
I am glad you are happy even though we did not have time to finish the work as you were so late. You need a faster car mate. I can do Bedford in 1hr 40mins in a Metro and you are only 20 miles on from there :-D
Seriously though, if it wasn't for the accident on the A11 that delayed you, we would have got the front end done too.
See you again soon then.
Eddy

ps
Hope you got to Stansted ok. You must have been knackered last night from your long day.

Hey Eddy,

Yes mate...job done, and i was knackered. It's not the driving that's the problem it's the sitting in traffic jams that does me in!!

I got to Stansted from yours in just about 1hr15mins. The traffic was kind to me and so was the car  Hazel didn't get out of the airport till 4:10pm anyway and i arrived shortly afterwards so it all worked out fine. We had dinner at 5pm at the Poison Chef on the A14, relaxed for an hour, Hazel had a couple of beers and we got home by 7pm. It was a long day though.

P.S. Your little Metro weighs half as much as my Scoob and you weigh half as much as me  so you have the upper hand in major weight saving, however.....It might be a pocket rocket upto 50mph and around town but thereafter it's adios amigo as you disappear in my rear view mirror :P It is very nippy though all the same!! :D

Yes....we just need to sort the downpipe out one way or another, and i need to get these uprated Engine and gearbox mounts sorted before i come to see you again as the OEM mounts are like jelly!!

Good pricing on the Millers Oil and Turbo/Intercooler/Vacuum hoses.

Nice one!! :thumb:
