Passengers and extra drivers have been free in the past.

Most are off to time attack on the sun buddy.

No fuel on site best take a jerry can or nip out at lunch.

http://www.timeattack.co.uk/

Both days will be busy as loads of clubs have a set number of
spaces and its usually fully booked, but dont let that put you off
the place is huge and can easliy cope with the number of cars.

Its an RAF base so cant see any issues with just leaving it in your slot in the pits or just make frends with someone on site and leave it in there tow vehicle.

i've always found everyone to be pretty descent, i've left it in my slot in the pits with all the other bits ive taken out of the car, i normally go out with a full tank and head out at lunch if needed though can take up to 45 mins to an hour to get to the bp station and back.

45 MINS , F that i think i will be taking a 25 litre drum then and a funell and just ask peeps to keep eye on it ,

how much fuel is used on these types of things ? if i was to say fill up do you think i would then need another 25litre aswell ?

thanks

BTW if anyone wants any i can get EMPTY CLEAN AND USED ONCE FOR DISTILLED WATER SIMILAR TO THE ONES BELOW note they are not the ones below i just could not find a picture of an empty one !!! but they are the same style and have only had water in , if you want need one get in touch , ohh and they are fuel safe by the way i have used fuel in them before .

Hi Aaron,

With my scoob I normally bring a 20L jerry and a couple of 5L cans as well as being near-full on arrival. Your BM may be a bit more frugal but not by much. Also the scoob suffers fuel surge, so I always run with more than half a tankful.

So, yes, a 25L drum would be just about right.

Have never had a problem with leaving stuff in the 'paddock' at airbase days; security is inherently higher than at a regular trackday.

Andy
