I did have an issue with IE when I upgraded to 8.0 but that seems to have sorted itself out now. don't know how lol. Other than that it seems ok apart from the fact that it doesn't always update when it should.
I may be getting older but I REFUSE to grow up :D

I recommend Bitdefender as a cracking bit of antivirus. Been using it for a good 3-4yrs now and i won't use anything else.

Doesn't slow my machine down and comes with a firewall and other goodies if required or you just untick what you don't need.

Never ever use Norton as it takes over your machine bigtime. I always thought AVG was OK for a freebie. Used it a couple of times a very long time ago but wasn't happy with the interface and the amount of resources it uses when running in the backgrouond.

If your machine has slowed up make sure you only have boxes ticked that you need, otherwise uninstall and reinstall. If that doesn't work use something else like Bitdefender or Kapersky.
Buggers cancelled my op just a couple of days before it was due. Inconsiderate barstewards!!
