Bloody nightmare. I have the GT Spec headers with 3 bolt up-pipe flange. The top bolt is impossible to get to without a crescent shaped spanner, which of course I didn't have. I managed to borrow one but it was fixed, not ratchet so a real pain to tighten bit by bit.

The helicoil was the wrong size. I thought it was an 8mm thread but it turned out to be 10mm. So, it's a bit of a wing and a prayer job tomorrow but I only need to drive round the course for the class win :D

Mike Blackmore is getting ready for his first Nurburgring trip, Dick Grimes had the fire at Curborough and has retired for the rest of the season and Stu, I don;t remember why he's not playing :?

Gerry

clutch is not sorted
poly window not sorted

These two were both new problems though

Prior to these I was concerned that I would have been working at the JAE thing, although I only needed to be there today after all

Lots of excuses I know

The very best of British to our competitors tomorrow

That's the one, park and pose  That's why it didn't register.

Shame you didn't know as the clutch would have been OK for a sprint and a few screws and pop rivets would have the window sorted.

Day of rest tomorrow then? :D

A day of proving to the good lady that I know there is more to life than cars*

My first ever day at JAE today. The highlight was a truly superb effort by the sxoc.com guys. Huge fun watching the pugle stick fighting :D The rest of the show was exactly what I expected and you can take from that what you will.

Great stuff Trev. See you there. I'll be setting off in a few mins.

Looks rather misty here. I can barely see beyond the bottom of the garden. :o
