No! Just got home after a marathon day at Area 52. All seems wells but just too knackered to even think about wheels. I'll run with what's on the car now.blacky wrote:Ooh, look at you Gerry, Mr fancy pants :!:
Are we still coordinating wheels tomorrow :gay:
Still stuff to sort and I even had tp phone Stu to ask what time we need to be there
Not exactly jumping for joy at the prospect of an early start.
Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or hump it, piss on it and walk away!
No vids or lap times, well not from me, sorry
Great day though. A few stoppages for offs and a couple of bent cars early on. One poor Focus ST, looking very sad.
Logan and I were wanting to learn the track for our sprint there in a couple of weeks and who better to show us what's what but our own Mr Slarty Bartfest, hitherto to be known as Mr Slarty Bartfast
He even gave me some pax laps in his M3 CSL a truly superb car (if it has indicators it would be truly awesome) bloody quick and bloody smooth, consistency, lap after lap.
Stu kindly showed me his lines by leading me round for a few laps. And so, by the end of the day, what started as quite tentative attempts to negotiate the series of ups, down, lefts, rights that comprises Cadwell later became a most enjoyable experience. Slow, but enjoyable.
Good to bump into Matt in his newage Scooby with his mate. Hope his mate's pax laps were OK for him. He seemed to enjoy it :-D
