If you did, did you change the wheel studs for longer ones?

I have seen a lot of fresh powder coated wheels before, even have a set myself, and i have never seen anyone re coat the hub surface.
Had 5 mm on the fronts and there was enough thread (was told 4 or 5 turns was OK) none on rear.

While I was waiting for the tow truck i checked out the other nuts and other front all were loose  by loose i mean i could have undone em there 7 then..........rears were also looser than they should have been.

Another lesson learnt though.......

Buddy Club guys were top notch............think if I'd had had a spare set off lower ssuspension aarms to hand they'd have fitted them for me !!.
the effective function of a thread is 1.5 x Diameter (in steel). so if its a 10mm bolt you should have 15mm of engagement.
