Awesome Trev, I knew you'd fall in love with the Berg Cup stuff
Stuart Airedale at Plastics is Ok, but he takes an age to get you the things you need (answers and or stock) and to be honest, I have a contact for this sort of thing at about 2/3 of the price MAX.
My car uses the same grade window that I'm referring to and the price was nearly half of the price found elsewhere. You would need to supply the original glass as a template, choose a colour of tint or plain and that's it. Within a week they'll be done and ready to fit.
They cannot do sliders but it's easy enough to do a series of ducting holes to keep the driver cool. I'll have a natter with you about this when you get back.
Have a nice break and look forward to the updates when you get home.

well work started this afternoon
stripping the interior is always entertaining and i should start cleaning it all up and give it a lick of paint tomorrow (any recommendations which paint to use ? ) was a bit worried when uncovering a 25 year old car but all looks pretty good rust wise under the carpet/soundproof
been in contact today with someone today regarding the fibreglass tailgate/bonnet/wings
next will be sourcing all engine bits and pieces like 16v conversion manifold/ 100mm driveshafts/ engine/box/ clutch etc etc
i must have stripped it with plenty of weight today as its now sitting like a 4x4, but this will be sorted when i get round to fitting the coilovers

im also on the lookout for a quickrack to sort out the mk1 3.5 turns lock
quaiffe do one to reduce to 2.7 so probably order one of them in the near future
im hoping to crack on with this before i lose intrest and my mind starts wandering onto something else
