Toyota MR2

Post by Daniel »

Right well since i now have an MR2 i think it's time to give it a project page :D

So first off i need to do some fault finding;

Nearside mirror doesn't tilt on all four axis'
Offside mirror doesn't tilt up and down, but does tilt left to right.
Nearside door doesn't lock with central locking.
Original single din CD player doesn't work (but the bloke put another one above it?)
Front driving lamps don't work (reckon it's the fuse)

Cosmetics;

Both seats will either need a retrim or replaced. (passenger one has a medium tear and the drivers one just has wear)
Gearknob has worn a fair bit (change that)
Gear gaiter worn
Give the inside a through polish and hoover out
Get a magic tree (new car sent i think)

So in a nutshell, i'm keeping this to standard factory spec as possible. so i might even change the wheels back to the original ones soon. :)

yeah i seriously am considering it, but when i say standard 8) i actually mean street sleeper, looks standard but ready to rip your head off :D

but first i need to get accustomed to the car before making some under bonnet changes. :)
