TA R5 - Brands Hatch

well i shall finally be making my debut in this years TA, better late than never though

the car seems tobe nice and settled for the moment, and we gave it a good workout at brands on wednesday. Just having the oil cooler fitted and the map tweaked and we should be good to go. Im not sure we will see as fast as a 50 in club just yet, but a 51 definitely. I would love to be attacking the 53/54 bracket personally, as i think that will be more than adequate to secure a place in the final session.

How come your not competing Duncan, is your car still not 100%?

I made the decision early to enable me to definitely sell my slot on the basis of funds for repair = funds for the event. Unfortunately times are tighter than I would like and it had to be done to enable a trip over to germany with the family as our only holiday this year. It is a big sacrifice from Rachel & Annabelle in giving up a beach holiday.

Ahh missed that Dunc, fair enough, seems sensible to me, bugger that stuff money, we never seem to have enough of it!

Just got home.

I'll be there, just got to blow the cobwebs off the car. Its a long drive down there. Couple of adjustments to make and we'll see how I get on. Want to better my 56 last year.

I think a sub 54 will be needed to qualify for club (and pro ) with a 50 sec lap done by a club challenge car and a 47 or quicker by pro.
