I got very little legal support and got nowhere with the garages who call themselves specialists
Thats pretty much where I am now .... thats why I been a bit quiet dont go in for ranting in public , but just wanted to get off ny chest I suppose

Was supposed to be doing the mods and getting it mapped , not sure what to do , I have got a garage full of stage 2/3 parts intercooler , oil cooler, Afm, clutch etc , now this has screwed everything ... its too good to break it , dont really want to sell it and I dont want to sink endless funds in to it either !!!

Skylines , really love these cars but are they worth the hassle

Then when it comes to specialists ..... thats another story all together it seems to be pot luck . I know these cars are complicated because I have stripped them down , but this was a straight swop , why give someone back a car in that condition its obvious that sooner rather than later it will fail.

what pi55ed me off is when I asked them about it , they said left it to keep costs down !!!!! A rad and a pipe costs 250 ish ?

I just paid for an engine , wheels , Brembos , base map , about 4,5 k so whats 250 on that ... its gonna cost me close to that to get it back to where I was :x :x :x :x

Will talk to the guy again cos I think its totally out of order and to be honest that is the worse excuse he could give IMO

Think this a project sadly on hold for the time being :!:

Really sorry to hear that Ken. Surely you must have some recourse with the garage. As Stu said I would take legal advice and then speak to the garage again. Sometimes the threat of legal action oils the wheels of compromise in my experience.
I may be getting older but I REFUSE to grow up :D

In my opinion the tuner should always advise of anything they think would be beneficial however large or small.
Anything that in a necessity should be made black and white.
I have to say i have spent money on things that i actually dont know what they do. However if the tuner is honest and you trust them then there is no reason not to follow the advice.
I really feel for you mate I know exactly how you feel I have had my latest R32 for 3 years now and driven it possibly 8 hours.
The feeling driving them is unmatched in my opinion but they are and always will be a money pit .
You will have to accept this if you want to keep owning one of these.
Gutted for you all the same

I thought I was hard done by !!!! Mate you must you have some patience , I dont know if I could cope with 8 Hours in the three years !!! I went for these cars because I thought they would be less hassle than a Rex !!! Starting to have second thoughts now.

But I have to agree when you drive them its second to none :)
