Sorry we missed you Jason :(

Cheers for the offer Stu. but we have had to pull out of the next round. We can strip it all down tomorrow to try and find out whats happened but that would only leave 2 days to get it fixed, put back together and set up. As much as we like a challenge we feel it would be potentially dangerous to do this, with other Time Attackers driving on the limit around us. We would have no time to even round test the car.

The second question is do we spend money rebuilding this engine or put that money to the new build.

I think the consideration you have shown your fellow competitors speaks volumes for you Pabs, :notworthy:

Truth be told, I'd be tempted to just build the new one. You can always sell you places on if that helps and at least you'll be infront for next season as your R and D will start so much earlier.

A tough one, but that it the way that I would look at it. You know you want to take part next year, so the last two rounds won't change anything. I'd give both you and Al a break and enjoy the luxury of a longer period of prep.

Best of luck in any event mate. You're a canny old sod. You'll do the best thing I'm sure :D

What a bummer. This year's been a constant round of things going wrong it seems, for quite a few, me included.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

Bugger indeed. Gutted for you :(

Thankfully there is a long break til Snetterton so I would go all guns on the new build.

I hope you get it sorted.

I think that so many of us (not me) are upping the ante, raising the bar to the degree that things will go wrong. There seems to be more events with cars running at higher levels of tune.

Seems logical that more things will go wrong in that environment.

We were discussing things whist waiting for the recovery truck on sunday and inspite of the problems we've had we feel that it is the problems we've had that have made our success's all that more sweeter and the highs greater. If things had run perfectly from the start then problems later on would be so much harder to deal with mentally.
