It's best seen in action to appreciate the finer points but:

It's a large, red, portable, button in a red housing with the legend 'BULL-SHIT BUTTON' inscribed around the edge.

Upon pressing said button, one of a number of phrases (pun :) ) is emitted from a hidden speaker.

I'm sworn to secrecy as to the content of it's vocabulary but you can probably guess :o

Be afraid, be VERY afraid :D

Well done for finding the damage.
Common sense really to check these things.
The first builder did not check the crank for my GTR with catastrophic results and the blame put on me for not checking it before supplying it to him
Good luck with the rest of the build

Some builder that was if he relies on his customer to quality check components.

Cleared some room today, gotta bite the bullet soon and start stripping the motor out of the car :D

I'll start by stripping most of the stock motor in the car. All parts will be photgraphed, bagged and tagged with locations and hardware.

I want to try and refurbish as may parts, bracket etc as possible so it will all be as minty mint as i can make it when it all goes back together.

Then i'll need to borrow and engine crane and have the motor out.

Remember, this is no concours car, just a one man band doing what i do. ;)

Ready to rock :D

Jet Ski looks awesome :D

Best of luck mate, not that you'll need it.

Anyway, what do you mean, 'it's not concourse' Depends on where you're standing I guess.

As promised Area 52 delivered me a replacement crank today and a quick look shows that all is well.

Really impressed with their service and that they delivered on time without fuss.

Cant recomend them enough, Cheers Mike, Jase & Tracy ;)

Crap phone pic, but i got some time free to start stripping the engine bay tonight.

All openings are capped to prevent any contamination, all wires are zip tied and all multiplugs have been bagged and zipped to prevent any water ingress.

Still waiting on an engine crane but im off the the WRC Germany next week so it wont come out before then anyway.

But at least you can see ive done something... the bulllet has well and truely been bitten!! :D
