It still gets you excited even after you have been there a few times Lee - just slightly less preparation / panicing done for future trips :D

Well hello everyone i'm barney the guy that has gone half with lee with the golf so as i have now added myself thought i best leave a message and say hello.

Was at the last meet came with lee in the evo and just getting started with all of this so the thought of the ring it totally mind blowing at the moment.

It has also encouraged me to get gran torismo back out again on the ps2 to start looking at all the fun we have in store.

Well hope to start using this more and more and hope to start getting to know some of you as well at future meets and at the ring for anyone going.

I will be the one sat on my own getting all worried and excited all at the same time.

Cheers guys and thanks to lee for to be honest holding my hand thus far with all this as i am a total virgin. best place to pop my cherry i guess.

Hi Shaun - not knocking Grand Turismo as it is useful for getting a general idea of where the track goes - it can and does speed up learning but please dont drive GT lines there as you will be owning some rather large sections of armco by the end of the trip.

You will seriously not believe the gradients and speeds that you will acheive - prepare to be amazed :D

I wish I was there in the pits for the first time that you come in after a lap - the wide eyed look of relief is a picture in anyone that has never done it. The hands shaking and the rush of adrenaline and need for more laps... bring it on :thumb:

Ok cheers dunk and Lee gets the pleasure of seeing my face after my first lap so knowing him he will take a photo of it.

and the PS2 was just an idea plus bet Lee wont be taking about him having a go and doing what was it Lee a 13 minute last crashing on the first corner then a young lad doing the same lap in the same car in 7 minutes. lol :D

sorry had to say that, but i hope you dont do that for real when we get to the ring.

The car has come up very well with a bit of elbow
grease wash, clay bar, T cut and polish.

Then had a little accident, dad is spraying the
kit car at the moment so we decided to change
the colour of the stripe. Bad idea the paint
reacted and I have spent the last four hours
removing the red paint.
