I've got european maps for tomtom on palm pda, but a pal once tried to load them onto a windows pda with no success, so probably not compatible with he xl...

Welcome to try though. They're on CD but I could load them onto a card.

Your Palm PDA uses Palm OS so not compatible with a windows CE device unless you have a Palm OS emulator (StyleTap) like i do on my O2 XDAIIi which is a windows CE device.

The TomTom XL also uses a windows CE operating system (OS) so there's a good chance my maps of Western Europe will work with the XL. I also have the latest speed camera updates on there too which are OV2 files and i know for a fact OV2's work with XL.

I'm trying to upload the file to my website for Lee to download and try out but it's a big file and will take a while to upload, although download with decent broadband won't take too long. Then Lee can copy it onto a formatted data card.

This is also useful to have printed out (slightly different route but it does have pictures) for a navigator to use.
