If anyone is thinking of going, please do. I went with Pete on Wednesday and had a great day
Excel is a doddle to get to, there are tonned of gorgeous concept cars (Suzuki's is a stunner) and some genuinely fascinating new technology.
The Lotus Evora is worth the hype and the tech details on the car are amazing
Thanks to Rob for the VIP treatment. Much appreciated by both of us mate.

I would say 4 hours is about perfect :thumb:
The show itself is quite small, even intimate, with several key manufacturers pulling out all of the stops.....the Alfa Romeo stand has to be seen to be believed. There are technical exhibitors which are actually very interesting for once (The eco Elise is superb) and make a worth while addition to the normal stuff.
There is a money no object collection of exotica near the Lotus stand. They have Koenigseggs, Zondas, Maseratis and Ferraris to name but a few.
Also well worth the time and effort iare the outside displays, most notably the guys from Land Rover. The queues were around 20 minutes each but you should really try to experience these three 'courses' first hand. I was amazed and now look at the marque in a completely different light.
The food and drink are the normal poor quality and high price so if you can take a ruck sack and some sarnies I would. The car park is only ten minutes away via courtesy bus and definitely the way to get there.
Hope you go and enjoy it Andy. Just promise me that you'll go and look at that Suzuki
