Direct bolt on is great and much more easier to install.
I also heard, that that 8cm housing is more laggier. I would choose a 3" inlet and not a 2,4.
Would you take the "new" HTA green or the normal FP Green? Are the FP Green turbos water and oil cooled?
The oil feed line costs only a handfull dollars, so take this also.

Duncan, Just to pick your brains again. My STi8 engine doesn't have TGV's installed but there is a TGV housing aparently although it has no motor or valve in there.
For the 3" turbo inlet pipe will that housing have to be removed and replaced with a blanking plate of some sort?

:pmsl: Hehehe..... OK i'l take some further advice on that one then
Umm... Possibly the good old USA if i buy new, or a UK source if i buy used!!
I just need to work out all the costs exactly if import a new one although importing a used one from the USA would be even cheaper than buying used from the UK as customs and excise duty is different again to importing new stuff
I have a few balls up in the air at the mo...we'll see what turns up. It's all about the money :thumb:

Hmmm yes it does all sound a bit of a balls up
I did look at importing from the US but decided to go with a known source in case of problems. That's why I went with Mike at Area 52 he has a good track record for after sales service.
Another deciding factor was import duty. I have never got away with being stung by customs on stuff from the US whereas from Japan, I've never been charged.

Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or hump it, piss on it and walk away!
