Thanks for the kind comments guys.
Since this we've done some more, getting the front struts from their rather tired front struts and standard brakes from this......

To this

Which consists of more powerflex bushes, zimmerman cross drilled vented discs, Green Stuff EBCs, more braided hoses, 51mm 318is suspension of SPAX PSX type (Hopefully, we'll feel some difference  )

Rear suspension finished

Something nice to hang onto when we realise we're going backwards!

And finally getting it down onto 4 wheels again!

Its still our long term goal to do loads more, but we are trying to build a sound reliable fun RWD car.
Thanks have to go to GSF at Chelmsford for their support and humour, me and Nigel are practically in there on a weekly basis, and must be on our way to getting our own parking bays soon!
Next up is some bodywork, alignment and fitting the Toyo's, an MOT, rolling road for tuning and then some road miles to make sure nothing falls off :D
Assuming it actually gets to the 'Ring, when it comes back, they'll be more bodywork, seats, harnesses, intercom, fire extinguisher, strut braces (If we can't source some before hand) and some rest for Nigel who seems to be living under the car at the moment covered in grease!

GSF or Eurocarparts do some very competively priced parts with decent quality. Cars looking to be coming a long nicely.
You cant be far of being ready for the ring.

Best of luck mate. At least you're in the right trade to get a dodgy MOT ;)

If you need anything for the car, ask someone else......I'm having a bloody mare with mine. Sort one job, create three others

Brakes and suspension look good.

Looking good 8)

I have Spax PSX on my E30 and they made a massive inprovement over the standard I also added uprated ARB (Whiteline from Fast Eddy) and polybushes. The brakes are my next thing to tackle.

If your interested I have the old Arbs from my 325i they are thicker than on the 318i

Rob, I'll let you know how the trip goes handling wise, if the concensus (big word for this time of night) is we need bigger bushes, i'll PM you.
