Can I ask what the plans are for this year Keith?

Obviously some new wheels & tyres because I have them, but I have seen a few other bits for sale as well ;)

Hi Bubble

I posted this info on another thread just being lazy lol

The car is getting some big changes for this coming season.

The OS Giken OS88 gearbox has a airshifter on it now,it will make the car easy to drive now as its hard to manual shift 4 gears in just under 7 seconds and hold onto the car.

We are also changing over to full slicks and i have a special set of 15" wheels on there way that only weigh 3.7kg each plus we are fitting very light wilwood drag brakes,we will see a saving of around 45kg of unsprung weight.

There is a new aero front bumper being fitted fith a full under tray as we are getting a bit of drag so we are going to smooth out the underside of the car.

The engine is getting a bigger turbo and a one off set of camshafts from Tomei and we will be fitting a dry sump kit.

plastic windows will be getting fitted to help take a bit more weight off the car as every bit counts.

The last thing that we are working on is a single MacPherson strut on the front end if we can get this to work it will save about 50kg as the double wishbone set up is heavy.

so with all the changes the car should have more power and be 100+kg lighter

I think thats about it for now.

There are two drag cars that I admire, John Bradshaws Project GTST and yours Keith 8)

The air shifter gearbox should shave a fair bit off your time and the weight saving sounds good too.

I hope it staye reliable and you break some more records this year :thumb:
