Only problem with the box is that it's bloody heavy.
Trying to do it whilst on your back won't be much fun and you'll need two of you under there to take it off and put it back on. You'll need plenty of clearance under there too so the higher in the air the better.
Make sure you fit the clutch using a clutch alignment tool (cut off gearbox shaft) as there is nothing worse than struggling to get the box on when the clutch wasn't lined up in the first place specially when you're on your back!!
Persoanlly I'd buy a car that worked properly in the first place. Nothing worse than buying a car to drive everyday and you have to start spending money on it straight away and getting your hands dirty from day one.
Spend a bit more and get a good one in the first place unless you like getting mucky and enjoy steep learning curves
