There seams little point in continuing this discussion, the organisers clearly are not that fussed about the 2nd level of club, otherwiseDill wrote:But if they're are supposed to be in pro, be it because of the driver, (and if you don't own the car you're driving then surely you should be in pro anyway, as its against the ethos of club class), or because its a tuner/dealer entry then thats the class they're supposed to be in. If they can't meet the regs thats their problem. If I can't get a race suit, or harness or regulation seat does that mean I can still enter club class? No, we have to abide by the rules - so should they. This isn't a dig at any individuals, people will get away with what they can.gary@apt wrote:pmsl dunc not up to pro regs its a bloody standard car!!!!!
Anyhoo, sunny here, should get there mid afternoon to guesstimate some suspenion seetings ready for tomorrow :P
1. there would have been the tuner class originally mentioned,
2. Action was promised if the 'pro' guys in club perform at a Pro level, well clearly 3 / 4 are up at that level and as expected nothing has been done.
3. Most of the TV focus's on the Pro and then 'Pro' Club guys, this is obviously what they feel will atract the crowds / TV / Sponsors.
So either accept running mid to back of the grid, against 'pro' teams or find another series, Sprint/Hillclimb or actual race, where for the same budget you can be a challenger.
