the abs sensors in the wheels, is it worth giving them a spray of brake cleaner?

and just a thought, the wires to them, are they getting to hot or anything like that, and messing around with the singal?

Thanks Jamie :)

Oil temperatures pre install got to over 130 deg C on track at a cold Knockhill.

Post install at Silverstone on a much hotter day got 115C.

With the ducting I expect it to be less from proper speed testing dragging air through the core. The angle was changed to allow for the air to be drawn through it more effectively. I am hoping for 110C max from a sustained session.

The temps still seem pretty warm. Where's the temp sensor? What size is the cooler? What temps are you seeing in normal road driving (if you do normal) :)

Temp sensor is next to the turbo above cylinder 3.

Remember this is sustained track work Gerry. On cruise they hover around the thermostatic cut in point of 90C.

Cooler is 19 row 130mm wide or something like that.

dynamix wrote:hmm only a few days to go and a fair few things to do:

1. completely finish mapping if I can get the maf to a stable condition (something weird going on with this)
2. boxing for oil cooler
3. change oil
4. spray track wheels again
5. fit new mounts for gearbox and engine
Mapping sorted, oil cooler boxing sorted, wheels re-sprayed so now just got the oil change to do :D

Oil and Group N engine/gearbox mounts arrived courtesy of Alyn at ASP but alas no oil filter in my garage so Alyn is sending one out today - will change the oil tomorrow morning and that will be it. Mounts will wait til next week now.

Woohoo.
