Hope I didn't come across as critical; accelerating like a bike in a 1tonne car was truly impressive.

Herefordshire, first the Marin Roughride a 75km with 7000' climb (...difficult to train for that one in Cambs!) then Mountain Mayhem last weekend, a 24hr 4-man relay. The 24hr was awesome, still on a high now (with intermittent bursts of massive tiredness!!).

Mountain Mayhem used to be in the Malverns - at the old deer park. Used to race there (not 24 hr though, it would kill me now

That last engine didn't go pop due to Det it was definately oil starvation/big pressure drop at much high revs.

Anyway Duncan, you're absolutely right either way and i don't know why i've not got one yet. Probably because it's not priority in the grand scheme of things and i have a bunch of other personal things really bugging me at the mo and i should have got one when i was busy getting all the other bits together. As time goes by i keep forgetting to sort one out but if i'm not careful it will be too late...as you have said.

I'll just have to get one
