Shopping, thats the wifes job and I don't let her drive me car

(a await a barrage of bollockings from the female members for that comment)

I would like to say a big thanks to Gary from Jap Salon (Japsalon) for his offer. I originally got the fenders from Gary and since they don't cover my front wheels (as my wheels are now wider than I was going to run) we need to extend the extensions

Gary has offered to come up rework my front wings making them wider & allot more sexy'er. Thanks Gazza and I love your plan, Top Bloke

Just wait till you see the finished wing :o

I had a feeling Gary would love the challenge of reworking your wings and I'm sure you must be chuffed that he's taken the job on. Good news all around.

Still reckon you'll make Oulton mate?

Since the build started it grew much bigger than I planned, I had aimed to be ready for Donnington but I decided in January that it would be ready when it's ready.

I have never set a deadline date as the car was always too far off. Oulten Park is not set in stone for me and I wont be dissapointed if it's not ready but I am working to finish the car and be out on track at Oulten

We have a full week booked in for this car starting tomorrow, that will be over 120 man hours so come Friday I will know wheather it will be there or not.

Last thing I am going to do is rush this build :P

::: UPDATE :::

Just got back home now, so chilling with a cuppa before bed

Got plenty done today.

Altered the manifold & then opened a box to reveal this
Image

So the first thing we did was this, to check a few things
Image

Got the servo's fitted (always the first step to rubuilding the engine bay)
Image

When I get some more money I will fit an aftermarket pedal box but for now these will do.
Image

Got a bit creative last thing tonight and after painting the Brake servo support brace black we added some silver speckles by accident at first but the end result was impressive :o
Image

Image

So I speckled the steering rack too
Image

Thanks to this ugly guy I now have lots of very clean parts to refit to the car, highly recommend his cleaning skills
Image

This was the end result of the box, taken just as I was locking up. Bloody big B*****d
Image

And here is the first shot of the motor 8)
Image

See you all this time tomorrow night !

Im loving this build mate, ive never spent so much time studying pictures of bits off a car. Its amazing that you've refrained from using hideously lairy colours!

Its an extremely impressive project, and as much as im envious that its not mine, im proud to be watching it come to life.

.....Not only that, but im now truely inspired to gut the inside of mine and start doing it properlly.

Keep it coming mate, its gonna shake up the competition when its done!!! :D :D :D
