What looks like a relatively comfortable win by around a second was dead tight really as Logan was ahead by 1/100th after 1st timed run. I was running my Goodyear F1s for first time in dry and they were really struggling. Not much grip and ripping themselves to shreds. I put on my barely legal 'in-case-I-get-a-puncture' spare Bridgestone 050 on the left front - the tyre that does all the work at Lydden. I went quicker than I have ever done before in T2. Annoyed I didn't go quicker in cooler T3 but pleased with win and to do do 2 83s. I was a bit mystified after T1 as I had been consistently in the 83s at previous meetings at Lydden. Interestingly Logan's Re070s barely looked liked they had been working. They're on the shopping list...

Well done to Russell and Graham - steady progress all day at a track you have to work your way in to - not that Logan did.

Just sent off entries for Aug Curborough - do it before it becomes Barrett homes - and Brands - 'kin expensive but worth it.

Anyone seen Hethel regs?

Nice bit of thinking on your feet Kim and well done on a good win. No sign of Hethel regs on B19 or AEMC. 3rd August so should be out soon.

I've not seen any of the regs for those Kim (Curborough or Brands) Any ideas where I can get them?

I'm a member of HCC and GBMC. Trying to get details on Hethel from a friend at Lotus.

Curborough regs for the three BARC events of the year come out in one mailing, probably before you signed up Stu.

You can download Curborough here:

Brands here

Curborough also here

Both well worth making the effort for - ditto Cadwell Park with B19 in Sept.

I think Curborough is unique in that it is a purpose-built sprint venue. Check out

Morning chaps

Back at work after a busy weekend. have to say although Mr Adams beat me I think this Sprint has been my favourite of the year so far. A proper good tricky little circuit that keeps you thinking. I was well chuffed with getting close to Mr Lydden himself

Although after my 3rd time lap that felt relly good and tidy I went .7 slower thatn my previous run which saw me outbrake myself into the Devils Elbow and run slighty wide so there is definately time to be amde, also I think I need to grow som bigger kanhoonas for Paddock Hill bend as the commitment Kim was showing was impressive. And I didn't quite have the nerve to try and drift throught it like Kim!!!

I am looking forward to the next one there and I would recommend it to anyone.

Graham and Russell were having a good battle. Qiute amusing seeing Graham park up after his 2.75 lap practice with the brakes blue and smoke pouring from his brake pads :!:

Was very interesting watching the National A boys in their tricked up single seaters....woo some of those boys are very impressive, inch perfect aand very commited.

Also, the Caterfield Academy were there, lots of them, with large differences in abilities which made for interesting spectating.
