Problem with powersteering , need some help ASAP please

Sounds very much like it must be the pump. IMO

just a silly thought, but you do have the belt tight enough to give you the assistance when its warmed up or put under load???

silly question but you havent got the pipes the wrong way around some where have you?

wheres abouts in cambrigde are you mate, if you need a hand over the weekend let me know. im changing a front crank seal on the 200 saturday mid day but rest of weekend i should be free

hi, im in sawston.

pipes are all ok.

there is only the return at the top, and a different style bolt that is used on the bottom of the pump.

it is such a simple design.
fingers crossed the other pump will come today, and it will work :help:

am still not a happy chappy, or i cam expecting to much, but after speaking to subaru central on monday, and them telling me they will send out a pump, and i should have it tuesday, or wed at the latest.
wed came and no pump. i phoned them up, and i was told it has not been posted, and it will be sent asap.
thursday came and went, and today friday, still no pump.
i phoned them up again, and was told he would check with the girl who sent it, to find out what is going on. after 1.5 hours i called back, but he still didnt know anything, and said he would phone me as soon as he knows anything.

the time is 18.00 now, i tried calling but they must be shut. thanks for the phone call back i am thinking.

im getting sick of all of this now, and just want to get my car back on the road.

Don't take it personally. Customer service is something your Grandfather might remember. These days no-one seems to give a toss and they leave you waiting for promised phone calls that just don't happen. :x

if you need a hand let me know mate ive got a fair amount of tools being a mechanic by trade and i dont mind lending a hand or bringing tools if needed aslong as i have a cuppa im anyones im easy like that :roll:

hopefully the pump will be with me monday or tuesday this week, fingers crossed, and touch wood it will work
