Just looking into buying one of these, crikey they are expensive, just thought i would get one rather than thinking about it, but those Bromptons are serious bucks :!:
You haven't got another free one lying around do you Kim??
As above, if anyone wants a pax on the Convoys just ask, we all need all the help we can get to keep up with Mr Adams :!:
Abingdon Round 3
Results are through.
Looks as though what I heard about the Escort in my class had some foundation as he doesn't appear in class 8. So, I got second
I reckon the courses were slightly different to last years as my time was only 0.4 secs quicker this year. Kim was 20th ftd; Logan 22nd and me 23rd. Interestingly, I was 23 last year too
FTD this year 90.06
last year 87.64

Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or hump it, piss on it and walk away!
I beat you on the Abingdon course by 0.3 secs. but you beat me on the Bentley drag course. I'm surprised about that as I'd have thought the other way round would have been the case. I reckon my car should out drag yours and you were having problems on your pm course. :?blacky wrote:Well done Gerry!!
Looks like us BP lads did pretty well then!!
Oh, and me beating you...... :wave2:
Yep, all the BP boys done well! :thumb:

Just found the Escort, that was moved from D8 to E9. He didn't beat me to second spot, it was my crap mental arithmetic. The 0.8 secs that I thought he beat me by on Bentley was actually 0.08 so I had a genuine second

Yeh, the Abingdon course in the morning was where I had my clutch slip badly on the last run and by my reckoning lost 0.5 ish seconds as thats what I was down on from Kim and Brian in the GT3 RS. Which made me very grumpy over lunch! I then went and did a "TK Banzia" run on the last afternoons timed run and won that one by 0.3 seconds or so but it wasn't enough to beat Mr Adams.
I think there was time still to be has from both course really as even in the afternnon I was gingerly launching as the clutch wasn't liking it. I have now changed the clutch fluid and found it was almost black

I reckon I can tell you why i pipped you onthe Bently course Gerry, you weren't using 1st gear on the last chincane
Well done on the "proper" 2nd in class, and weel done to all the Bp guys out there doing it!
