Mate, I have read through your write up with great interest and complete admiration. What an impressive build, you must be so pleased with how its going.

I have never seen such mahoosive arches on a 32, and man they look good!! :thumb:

Looking forward to reading more about it and seeing it for real!

Keep up the good stuff!!!! :-D

It is a fine line between this and outlawed space framed chassis though.

George - have you had confirmation from Rob/Andy/Glen that it is okay to run like this?

ps - looks fantastic btw 8)

This is incredible !!!!

What amazing attention to detail. It looks great. I agree with Ben and would love to strip mine down to the same level and build it back up.

Great job so far, unusual to see such a subtle colour though. The fashion seems to be wild and lairy colours !!!

it's called class

tbh the colour was one of the hardest choices I had to make. I like silver and my stickers will make up for the lack of "wildness"

Thanks for the comments guys, I am really happy with the car and soooo looking forward to getting it out and enjoying it on the track, I really do think this will be a monster :P I will keep you posted with updates.....

George

Oh Dunc, yes it is fine, I have had a couple of conversations with the Scrutineer before I started. We'd of loved to go further with the car but then that would be a space frame

Ohh yes my friend I have lots here, and another set I will put up in 10 mins....

Update:

I Had a good day on the car & took plenty of photos.

Fitted the rear subframe

I have found a couple of places where the painter missed, easy done when it wasn't on a spit so I wont moan at him! I will get some paint and do the areas tomorrow. ]http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b145/ ... 008164.jpg[/img]

Image

Once I'd fitted the rear hubs & drive shafts I went off to this place....

and come back with these :D

Couldn't wait to get them fitted on the car to check them.
Image

I got these custom made off a dodgy template over the phone, through a friend  So I was eager to check the fittment. Backs are perfect I couldn't of ordered a better fit myself :) Front are slightly wide.
Image

Image

It's not an issue as the wider the better for me, the car isn't set up I just stuck everything back on :goingmad: TBH it's too wide to get away with but I have a cracker of a plan 8)

Last shot from inside, this gives a good idea to how wide it is.

As the wheels was on and we had to turn the car around to fit the engine, out it rolled.
