Not usually a great fan of Rovers, but I have to say I like that, and having watched the video im impressed.

Just goes to show, if a car is properly prepared, you can certainly have a lot of fun and even show up some <normallly> very quick cars.

I like it mate, definately diffrent! :D

mmmmm maybe ours needs a lick of paint. looks great in them colours. :D:D Might eventually get the track prep under way on ours. Its up and running now altho dont boost properly TBH, and the brak3es are poor to say the least but if the nice weather arrives and i refrain from taking the noble out i will add the shocks that i have and rethink the brake situation.

finally back on the road after a couple of months waiting on parts etc.
now with gt series turbo new intake, downpipe etc, brakes changes and front mount oil cooler, roversport rear suspension arms, new disks etc
first impressions car feals good with low lag -not sure if its faster yet though fingers crossed :|
bit worried about the turbo though as it seems very noisy -not sure if this is normal for gt series units?

it makes a rolling noise all the time and you hear it for about 30 sec when you switch the engine off, sounds like rollers bearing might have worn tracks...... never noticed any noise with my old non roller bearing turbo :
Anybody else got a gt series unit -hope I havent been sold a duffone :x
On a positive side it boost quickly and holds dead steady I would have thought it would have stopped spinning quickly if there was a bearing issue :?

car is noticably noisier now from the exhaust maybe due to better flowing turbo/downpipe I am guessing

To be on the safe side, it may be worth speaking to someone in the know.

Ive spoken to graham at Universal Turbos (01425 656900) in the past, and there didnt seem to be any question he couldnt answer to do with turbos? Just a thought.

Im sure you would have quite obvious symptoms if there was a problem tho met.
